French Toast
INGREDIENTS
Cheesec ake Filling 1 package FF cream cheese (Greek yogurt or ricotta) ⅓ cup granulated sweetener or coconut sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 egg or 3 egg whites 1 tbsp lemon juice Strawberries (or fruit of choice) to layer Egg Mixture 5 egg whites 1 cup non fat milk (coconut or cashew are best) 3 tbsp sweetener or sugar of choice French Toast Bake 12 slices bread, crusts removed (I used low carb/GF) Cooking spray or 1 tbsp lightest butter 2 tbsp sweetener or sugar of choice 1 cup strawberries or fruit of choice (optional) INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 375F. Coat baking tin with cooking spray Make Filling: Beat cream cheese, sweetener, vanilla. Add egg whites and lemon juice, then beat until smooth Make Egg Mixture: Mix the egg ingredients together in a bowl. Dip 2 slices of bread into the mix. Line the base of the tin with the egg dipped bread. Repeat twice more to get 3 layers Spread all the Cheese filling then strawberries over the bread. Then top with 2 more layers of egg dipped bread Dot surface with butter or cooking spray and add stevia Bake for 15-30 minutes (depends on the type of bread) until golden and puffed.
